A nice 24 screen AMC movie theater in Westminster near Denver. Friendly staff and lot of options for movies to choose from. A relaxed experience. The only downside is that the reclining seats in auditorium 3 were somewhat old and 2 out of 4 in the G row didn't recline. Nevertheless a relaxing experience to grab a movie on the big screen.

I wanted to like this theatre however I will not be back after my most recent experience, 2nd. My wife and I were looking forward for months to seeing the Odyssey so much so as we had bought our tickets several weeks in advance. Now, I cannot 100% blame the theatre for this full negative experience as it very well may have been the previous guests sitting in the seats we had, but there was a horrid smell coming from right behind seat H10 in theatre 13. I originally dismissed my wife's complaint until I then tested and sat in the seat. It smacked you right in the face smelling like a landfill. The cleaning crew made an attempt at cleaning but to no avail, it was a lost cause. (cleaning person also audibly gasped as soon as it assaulted them) My assumption is someone puked in the seat, tried to wipe it up, but the smell could not be taken out. I tried to sit for a few minutes hoping I would no longer get the horrid whiffs, but they continued. So, we just had to leave, I pity the next person that sits there. This movie that we had looked forward to seeing for months, bought early to get good seats on opening weekend was a bust. What actually let me down more and this review by an additional star or two is two reasons. 1. They could only refund the tickets through a gift card (I do not plan on going to another AMC anytime soon after this experience) 2. When we asked to have our beer purchase at concession refunded, she did not give us any option to just finish drinking them then leave as consolation, instead apparently policy is just to dump them (which in my opinion is alcohol abuse) I did not argue but just thought they could have earned some points after our immense disappointment. But no, down the drain. I know, as I thought as well, if I was so excited to see the movie why didn't I just tough it out. You have to trust me; you cannot have a positive movie experience with the whiff of a landfill assaulting your senses every minute or so. It was just not going to be an enjoyable experience. Do better AMC, don't care about the refund, likely t will be trashed.

*Will happily update review when fixed * saw the Odyssey in IMAX on opening night and I must say the orange glare on the screen was pretty distracting and pretty disappointing especially for an opening night movie like this. Love this theater especially for the IMAX experience and drive further than my other theaters near me to get that experience. Hope it gets fixed and feel like others should know before spending their money on a screen that could take you out of that experience.

Just saw the Odyssey and it was by far the most horrendous viewing experience I've ever been to. Audio: HORRIBLE attenuation. The loudness and amount of bass made it so all the actors, especially female higher range voices, were completely blown out. Not only was the mixing awful the actual volume was way too loud. I plugged my ears the entire time and it was still too loud. They don't even provide ear plugs here. I asked an employee and they said they used to but not anymore. Seating: Most uncomfortable seating ever. Neck hurt by the middle of the movie, none of the seats reclined even a little, and the cushioning was nonexistent. The spacing as well is horrible. They pack you in there like sardines and if you need to get up to use the restroom you have to bother/interrupt everyone in your row to move or get up. Will lightly touch on also, the smell. People wearing too much perfume and cologne is unreal. This isn't really AMCs fault but it'd be great if you could post I somewhere like an etiquette reminder. Overall this was the worst movie theater, especially IMAX, experience I've ever had. Will never come here again or any AMCs for that matter

I recently had foot surgery and walk with a cane. I ordered my tickets and my popcorn and drink and proceeded toward the theater. As I was trying to maneuver my balance, the drink and the popcorn , my popcorn bag ripped and scattered all over the floor. I was so frustrated with myself. As I was trying to clean up my mess a young lady came to my rescue. Without hesitation she began sweeping up my popcorn and as I apologized for the mess I created she smiled at me and said there was no problem. She then proceeded to retrieve a replacement popcorn for me. When she returned she offered to carry my popcorn to my seat in the theater. I was so impressed with her kindness. Her smile and warm demeanor made everything better! Her name was Lila! 😊

Great theatre. Chairs are comfortable & recline. This place is always clean. The screens are huge. Great location full of of a variety of restaurants & places to check out late night.

Went to see the new Scary Movie today in theatre 11, it’s a hot day so a movie sounded like a good idea. The theatre we were in had no AC, it was a waste of money unfortunately. Movie was great, but I would suggest a different location if you want to get out of the heat for the day.

I went to see top gun, first of all the movies was very expensive but we still went, went to get popcorn, I was expecting fresh warm popcorn and all we got was cold popcorn tasted stale, my wife asked for kettle popcorn the employee said yeah it’s over here on the side and he gave us old stale kettle popcorn, very disappointed. When we went to the theatre seats were not comfortable at all. I had recently signed up for the a list but because of the bad experience I will definitely cancel my membership even if I have to pay the early cancellation fee. I’m usually a Cinemark guy but decided to try out amc but will be sticking with Cinemark moving forward. Very disappointed
